I’m a fiend for music videos, and hip house had some great music videos! These are some of my favorite videos (and some of my favorite tracks) from ‘87 and ‘94. And if you don’t know 2 in a Room, check out their back catalogue! Most hip house tracks were one-hit-wonders but 2 in a Room had 6 singles chart in the UK and 4 in the US. The Beatmasters track is hailed as being one of the first UK house records, listen for that slammin bassline. The Beatmasters also have a pretty rich discography–Dig in!
